One Hope Project is seeking to provide a Mentor for each orphan in Ukraine.  This person  will visit a specific child on a regular basis and on weekends or holidays this child will be given the opportunity to spend time living in the family of his/her Mentor.

Project Purpose - to prepare orphans residing in boarding-schools and orphanages for independent life through mentoring.

The activity of One Hope Project was started in 2009 in collaboration with Kiev City Service for Children. One Hope Project seeks to work with orphans and children deprived of parental care. The project focuses on the socialization of children from residential institutions and provides a Mentor for every orphan residing in orphanages.

Project staff workers have participated in qualified training and are educated in the sphere of social work, pedagogy and psychology to work with orphans and to help in the mentoring process...
