On September 3rd a wonderful event took place: a meeting of orphans from child care centers in Kiev and their mentors was organized by One Hope Mentoring project. On this day about 20 adults came into different children's institutions after summer period separation to meet their mentees and spend time together. Mentors who participate in the project regularly visit their mentees in their places of residence in order talk to them, to help them with their homework, to discuss their future career choices or hobbies, simply saying just to become significant people in the lives of orphans. Typically in summer children are sent to the camps outside of Kiev so the workers of the project decided to make first autumn meeting special. Realizing that children need to actively and brightly spend their time, the workers addressed to the heads of the "Dream Town" entertainment complex with a request to use rollerdrome for the children and teachers free of charge.
