On the 2nd of March the ONE HOPE Project’s office was attended by members of the Mentoring School (which took place in Kherson at the beginning of the year) together with a partner organization "Agape". The purpose of their visit was to learn the Mentoring Program methodology. Experts of Mentoring project spoke on the main areas of work with adults and children. Psychologist Olga Savchenkova demonstrated the process and spoke on important points of primary consultations with prospective mentors. Social worker Irina Satsyuk demonstrated the work of the social teacher, told how to conduct Orientation and trainings for mentors, how to interact with services for children. Coordinators Victoria Androsova and Tatiana Koval laid out step by step the two sides of the Coordinator’s work: informational - work of coordinator with the examples and documentation, and practical - taught to create individual plans of mentees (to set goals and to prescribe the tasks)...
