April 2011, was the start of the pilot E-Mentoring Program in the Project One Hope. The Mentors will communicate to their Mentees by the Internet.
“I should note, that this form is a bit unusual for us, but it is in no way less meaningful for the kid in need of communication with a grown-up friend. We all probably know, that modern teens prefer online chats to face to face interaction. But this makes them even more vulnerable and “in-need ” of a wise advice and support of a Mentor. Mentor would be able to advise them which websites are not worth visiting, give prompts of where to seek for good job opportunities, and how to use the Internet for their benefit.
