One of the main objectives of the mentoring project of ONE HOPE is to impact the public opinion about the orphans, because it is not a secret that our society is not entirely cares for the pupils of boarding schools. Disclosure of the various (truthful) statistics about the future of these children is not the answer to the issue, and frankly speaking, it does not even raise the question why they have such lives. Is it because they aspire to such a life or simply do not have a choice because at the relevant time there was nobody who would help and who would support and protect them...?
We look forward to working with the media and believe that together we can overcome all the "stamps" ingrained in our minds for years with regard to orphans who are being brought up in orphanages in Ukraine...
