On the April 22, 2010 in the UKRINFORM Ukrainian National News Agency took place a press conference "Every orphan needs a family," dedicated to the conference "Strengthening the Family" for adoptive parents, which was held 23-25 April 2010 Kiev.

 

The press conference was attended by Minister of Ukraine for Family, Youth and Sports - Ravil Safiullin, Deputy Minister of Ukraine for Family, Youth and Sports - SvetlanaTolstouhova, Chief of Children in Kiev, Ukraine - Nikolay Kuleba, executive director of the All-Ukrainian alliance “Ukraine without orphans” -Ruslan Malyuta and director of the “One Hope” Project - Paul Gladchenko.

 

The conference addressed the welfare of orphans: whether to provide the education in the family or at the state institutions which could in the best way meet the needs of orphans and children deprived of parental care, and the kind of problems that are most often raised by the children and graduates of boarding schools, whether or not orphans have a hard inheritance, etc...
